A Patent-Driven Integrative Approach to Lung Cancer Treatment and Wellness Support

Abstract

This white paper presents a patented, integrative framework for lung cancer treatment and structured wellness support. While advances in surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies have improved survival outcomes, many patients continue to experience significant physical, psychological, and social burdens that affect quality of life. The patented system addresses this gap by embedding evidence-based wellness interventions directly into oncology care rather than treating them as optional adjuncts.

The model integrates conventional cancer therapies with coordinated supportive domains, including prehabilitation and structured physical activity, nutritional screening and intervention, self-management education, integrative therapies, digital health technologies, and multidisciplinary coordination. Clinical evidence supports the role of exercise in improving functional capacity and reducing fatigue and psychological distress. Nutritional interventions address malnutrition and cachexia, improving treatment tolerance and patient-reported outcomes. Structured self-management programs enhance symptom control and emotional well-being, while digital health tools improve care continuity, monitoring, and scalability. Integrative therapies and coordinated multidisciplinary collaboration further reduce symptom burden and improve patient satisfaction.
