Abstract

With time technologies used in medical field have undergone massive changes making doctors, surgeons, nurses and health workers to treat patients effectively, improving health care, detecting sickness early and healing patients faster. Some of the tools are as follows: MRI, CT machines and ultrasound machines for giving distinct pictures of the inside bodies; fast medical scans by computer programming; making to run complex tests in short span of time by using small laboratory-on-a-chip devices; do robotic surgery from distance with lesser blood loss and faster healing; artificial arms, legs, and electronic eye implants, pacemakers, artificial hearts, helping patients to move and sense world; targeted drug delivery to sick cells; growing replacement skin, cartilage, and lab tissues by using active cells and special scaffolds for healing severe burned and organs which are damaged; tracking heart rates, blood sugar, and vital signs by smartwatches and patches; and giving movement back to people who have lost their arms or legs by bionic limbs and robotic exoskeletons.

These tools that are discussed needs skilled doctors/surgeons to operate.
