Scientific Benefits of Topical Skincare Formulations on Skin

Abstract

This white paper reviews clinical evidence supporting the effectiveness of topical skincare formulations containing peptides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, humectants, and botanical antioxidants. Rather than focusing on individual products or brands, this analysis evaluates measurable changes in skin physiology, including hydration, elasticity, barrier integrity, and reduction in fine lines. Drawing from peer-reviewed clinical studies, the paper highlights quantifiable dermatological outcomes associated with these ingredient classes. The findings reinforce the role of these compounds as foundational components in evidence-based skincare and dermatological practice.
