Abstract

Insulin resistance has emerged as a widespread global health concern that continues to challenge public health systems. This metabolic imbalance is increasingly recognized as a contributing factor to type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and a range of metabolic disorders. The economic burden associated with insulin resistance is substantial, as healthcare systems worldwide allocate significant resources toward managing diet-related metabolic conditions. Growing scientific interest in natural ingredients and nutraceutical approaches offers a complementary perspective alongside conventional medical therapies. Research suggests that specific bioactive compounds may influence insulin sensitivity, glycemic balance, and metabolic regulation through multiple biological pathways. The increasing demand for holistic wellness strategies and sustainable interventions has contributed to the popularity of natural approaches that emphasize metabolic balance and long-term lifestyle integration.
